Why Camp David?

We believe that men have been created by God to fulfil a specific role. Camp David seeks to discover your heart and restore biblical masculinity.

§ A — The Crisis

He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children

Malachi 4:6

In South Africa, about 7 out of 10 children live without fathers. Camp David exists to address this crisis by restoring the hearts of men and raising up godly fathers.

§ B — Why We Exist

Our Calling

God has called Camp David to restore Christian masculinity through three strategic pillars.

Serve the Church

We exist to serve and strengthen the local church, not replace it. Camp David equips men to be faithful, active members of their congregations.

Build Community

Men need authentic community to grow, heal, and thrive. We create spaces where iron sharpens iron through intentional relationships.

Transform Society

When men are restored, families flourish and communities are transformed. This is kingdom work with eternal impact.

§ C — The Journey

The Process

A four-stage discipleship journey, from surrender to sending — the framework behind every Camp David track, from Adventure to Live through Battle to Fight, and it continues past the last stage in the alumni brotherhood.

Initiate

Surrender to Christ. Address repentance, forgiveness, and identity — discovering who you are as a son of the Father.

Demonstrate

Deepen your relationship with God through discipleship — growing in faith, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Activate

Transition to independent leadership while mentoring others. Step into your calling to lead and disciple men.

Relocate

Release men to pursue their individual calling — walking in spiritual independence and reproducing what they have received.

We Believe...

The Godhead & Scripture

the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God — the ultimate authority for faith and life.

in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Christ & Salvation

in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary — very God and very man.

in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Creation, The Church & What's to Come

in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost — they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness apart from God.

in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
