Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on the Camp David platform or attending a Camp David event, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account.

3. Camp Registration & Payment

  • Camp spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Payment must be completed within 24 hours of registration or your spot may be released.
  • Payments are processed securely via PayFast.
  • A unique reference number is issued for every registration.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before camp start: full refund.
  • Cancellations made 7–14 days before camp start: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before camp start: no refund.
  • Camp David reserves the right to cancel or reschedule camps, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Monthly Giving

  • Monthly giving is a voluntary recurring debit order.
  • You can pause, resume, or cancel your monthly giving at any time from your dashboard.
  • Camp David is a registered public NPC and can issue Section 18A tax deduction certificates.

6. Code of Conduct

Camp David is a faith-based community. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and dignity. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour will result in removal from the platform and events.

7. Alumni Network

The Alumni Network is available to men who have completed at least one Camp David camp. By opting in to the Alumni Directory, you consent to your name and general location being visible to other authenticated members.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform (text, images, logos, design) is the property of Camp David and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Camp David provides this platform on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
